Now, along the bottom of the trench seems wetter then when we started. Was cut along the barricade on the other side is dry. I fear that things will work. The area was drier before the trench, What is this about we need to paint floor watertight.

I have been living in my dwelling for 19 months now. I have been having issues w/ my sump pump all along, but my basement has bee dry as can be. This is why I haven't done much about my puzzle.

Is there a way to position a cover over the hole and pump? Build a wooden box bigger then enclosure and line it with material that would muffle the sound. Ensure you do chair a few vent holes in cover.
Going smaller might do the mischief until that time it really rains
