Help! I need to remove a shower drain cover before I go crazy from the clog!!!?

Whenever I try to keep braids down our shower drain, obviously some combination of soap, hair and lint were blocked in our jumbo shower drain. I dumped two boxes of baking soda and a trap to suppress B vinegar there - nothing.

The drain cover in the destroy of my shower is flush with the bottom of the shower. I've tried turning it, no luck. I've tried popping it up, no fate. Is there a secret I'm missing? It's white plastic, with holes (of sure) and 4 slanted openings. It's just a shower, not
Bewilder a small flathead screwdriver in one of the slanted slots and it should pop out.
